Designing Your Sacred Space
— Psalm 27:1
In 2026, our bedrooms have become secondary offices, theaters, and newsrooms. To experience the "Dim" phase of rest, we must intentionally re-consecrate our physical space. A sacred space is not about luxury; it is about eliminating distractions so the Spirit can speak.
If your environment is loud (visually or audibly), your soul will remain on high alert. To "Dim" is to signal to your nervous system that the battle of the day is over and the King is in control.
1. The Theology of Lighting
God created the rhythm of day and night for a reason. Artificial blue light at 11 PM is a "biological lie" that tells your brain the sun is up. Switching to warm, amber tones (below 2700K) honors your body’s design and the peace He provides.

2. Remove the "Digital Idols"
If you check your phone the moment you wake up, the world has the first word. If you check it before you sleep, the world has the last word. A sacred space has no room for glowing notifications on the nightstand.
